Just an ordinary person, struggling to make ends meet like most… I don’t have a large amount of money I can afford to spend on luxuries like gambling every month.
But I can afford to lose £20 a month. This would be just about the same as a night out at the cinema, a meal out, or a few bottles of wine. But I’d rather have the thrill of playing slots or bingo, instead of a couple of hours at the cinema, a restaurant meal or a drink.
I stick to my £20 budget… unless I win. 😀 If I win, my fluttering budget suddenly increases.
I normally don’t win a lot, as I simply don’t play that much. Sometimes I have a good month, sometimes I have a disappointing month. January 2014 for example was a brilliant month, my £20 (which wasn’t an outlay as it was money won from Dec 2013) turned into £170. However, February was disappointing, and I ended up with a fiver. 🙂 However February also gave me £35 for free to play with (due to giveaways), so I have to admit, even though I ended up with only £5 I had a lot of fun.
