William Hill review

WILLIAM HILL

✪✪

www.williamhill.com

I’m listing William Hill due to the free bingo they’re currently offering, and their awesome welcome bonus.  It’s neither my bingo nor slot site of choice, although I’m sure it’s good for those that are into betting.

Pros:

  • Easy to deposit/withdraw
  • Easy to navigate layout on the main site
  • Free bingo
  • Paypal option
  • Unusual slots

Cons:

  • Annoying bingo lobby
  • Fairly small selection of slots

Spend £10 – get £40:

I’ve not personally take them up on this offer (well – if it had been available to me when I signed up I would have grabbed it with my greedy hands instantly!)… as it wasn’t available when I signed up.  But if you sign up, deposit £10, spend it on bingo within 7 days (take note – on bingo!), you will then receive £30 bingo bonus to flutter on bingo and another £10 on top of that to spend on games!  Can’t go wrong with that!    Simple wagering requirements for the bonus:  x3 on bingo and x20 on slots.  Use the bonus within 1 month, otherwise it will disappear into the big nothingness (where half of all sock pairs disappear to after they go in the tumble dryer).

My personal experience with William Hill:

I don’t have much experience with William Hill… I made a minimal deposit, and fluttered it away quickly.  Sadly the awesome sign-up bonus currently available wasn’t at the time I signed up, so I didn’t get that much extra… I must have gotten some as it made me sign up, but clearly not enough for me to withdraw.   As they currently got free bingo on, I am hoping to nab me a freebie there.

Tip:  You’ll find a few slots here that you won’t find everywhere else… so have some fun and try out the free-play options!

My best win:  None… but I got my fingers crossed for a freebie on the free bingo.  😀

Virgin Games review

VIRGIN

✪✪✪

www.virgingames.com

Although Virgin Games isn’t my first choice if I’m about to deposit somewhere, I do love to hang around there.  They got excellent char games, and will often host chat quizzes (you can generally win £2).  So if you got nothing to deposit, you can have fun playing demo slots, and possibly pick up a few quid from chat at the same time.

Pros:

  • Easy to deposit/withdraw
  • Easy to navigate layout
  • Demo on slots
  • Paypal option
  • Free weekly game
  • Friendly chat hosts

Cons:

  • Unless linked games, very small pots on bingo
  • Clique chat
  • Chat hosts can be biased towards “fave” players

Get 200% bonus on first deposit:

Yes – the above sentence is true. :D However – there IS a wagering requirement to be met on the bonuses received before you can withdraw. Any bonus must be wagered x2 before it can be withdrawn. Bingo counts 100% towards your requirement, but slots only count as 5%! They do have a decent amount of both slots and bingo, and their free weekly game is a nice bonus.  If you’re online on a Wednesday they will at some point or another have free bingo running 4 times an hour for 2 hours.  Occasionally this will also happen over the rest of the week, but there’s no set time or day for that.

My personal experience with Virgin Games:

I signed up and deposited £10, which gave me £30 to play for.  It was fun!  I never really found a fave slot to play on… the one I like the best, Peggle, can be played for 10p a go, but it isn’t really much fun unless you play max lines (minimum of 50p per go at max lines).  Wonderland can still be fun, even if you choose to play for only 25p a go – as it has great bonuses.  Again, there is a wagering requirement, but it is lower than most other sites (2x, again less counts towards the 100% needed if playing slots), but they were fairly easy to meet.  When I had reached my wagering requirements I withdrew £25, making me a lovely £15 profit for having fun.

Tip:  Remember to play the weekly free game.  I’ve never won more than free spins, but free spins is free spins, and they’re not gonna be frowned at.

My best win:  £100… but not from the site itself.  It was from a promotion they held on Facebook for those signed up at Virgin Games, and I won £100 added to my account.  It was surprisingly paid as cash (not as bonus) into my Virgin Games account, so I withdrew and it paid for my car tax.  Thanks Virgin!

Tombola review

TOMBOLA

✪✪✪✪

www.tombola.co.uk

If you’re serious about bingo, then Tombola is the place to be!  Don’t expect any fancy graphics – but do expect some serious and fair bingo playing.  Even if you bet max at bingo 90, the highest you can bet is £2, so it evens out the odds for everyone.

Pros:

  • Easy to deposit/withdraw
  • Paypal option
  • Great for bingo
  • Easy to navigate layout

Cons:

  • No slots
  • Few games
  • Dated layout
  • “Free” game not free

Deposit £10 – get another £20 on top of that:

Yes – the above sentence is true.  😀  Bonus money wagering x2 (so if you get a decent win, it won’t be any problems reaching the withdrawal limit in a few clicks).

When you look at this site it looks dated, and boring.  But if you like bingo this site is as far from boring as it can get.  This site pays out!  Yes, it might not be paying out to you – but it keeps paying out to someone or another.  Jackpot quickly builds up on Bingo 90… and if you spend a few hours on the site you’ll see people winning jackpots while you’re online.

My personal experience with Tombola:

I signed up years ago, so cannot tell you whether I got a bonus or not… or whether I was able to withdraw right after the initial deposit… but I can tell you I’ve won a few times on there.  😀  Over the years, and with very little deposits (I like to depsit a tenner now and then, and then just spend £2 per week until the dosh is gone, so I can play their “free” weekly game), I’ve withdrawn over £300 twice, £500 once, and quite a few smaller amounts between £60 and £80.

Tip:  If you got little money and want it to last, just use £2 per week… then you’ll get to play the weekly game, which more often than not gives you nothing, but sometimes it throws you a fiver or a tenner… or you could end up lucky like I did – and I won £500 on it.

My best win:  Winning linked bingo games in bingo 90 twice in one night!

Stan James review

STAN JAMES

✪✪✪

www.stanjames.com

Stan James is offering up a great welcome offer.  So much so it tempted me in.  Great slots on offer, and there’s also betting, for those that are into that, as well as the usual casino games.

Pros:

  • Easy to deposit/withdraw
  • Low deposit limit
  • Paypal option
  • Loads of great slots
  • Very friendly and helpful live-chat

Cons:

  • No demo option on slots
  • Site slightly confusing
  • Bonus money limited to certain games

Deposit £5 – get £20 free:

Yes – the above sentence is true.  😀  Deposit £5 using a card, play it on Bonus Games (please take note – only Bonus Games) – withdraw any winnings, then contact live help, and they will add £20 into your account!  There is however a huge wagering requirement on the bonus that’s been added, but as long as you play for pennies it should keep you busy for quite a while.  😀

My personal experience with Stan James:

The welcome offer tempted me to no end… so I gave in.  And wasn’t dissappointed.  I deposited £5 (using a card), and after having played though £5 on the bonus games I was up to just over £10.  I withdrew, contacted live help and they added £20 bonus money for me to use on the bonus games.  I never managed to reach wagering requirements for the bonus, but I was still well chuffed having doubled my initial £5, and the bonus money gave me two solid nights of playing slots.

Tip:  Remember to play you initial deposit on bonus games to be able to qualify for the bonus.  I had to click on bonus games, then click on something else, then back to bonus games again to make sure they all showed.

My best win:  None really… I was up to nearly £80 whilst trying to reach the wagering requirements, but as I never reached them, I cannot really count that as a win.  🙂

Mr Green review

MR GREEN

✪✪✪✪

www.mrgreen.com

Mr Green is my favourite place for slots, and great if you just want to spend a fiver.

Pros:

  • Easy to deposit/withdraw
  • Low deposit limit
  • Demo on slots
  • Paypal option
  • Loads of great slots
  • Occasionally offer up great promotions

Cons:

  • No bingo
  • Wagering requirement T&C

Get 20 free spins + 100% bonus on first deposit:

Yes – the above sentence is true.  😀  However – there IS a wagering requirement to be met on the bonuses received before you can withdraw.  Sadly their terms and conditions is very vague when it comes to what this is.  If you do however try to withdraw before you’ve met the requirement, it explain that you still haven’t met it.  Don’t let this put you off though – if you love slots, this is an excellent place to play!  And you can try out all the slots before wagering, and if you’re not after the thrill of winning, just playing, then you’ll be in heaven.

My personal experience with Mr Green:

I signed up and deposited… I’m afraid I cannot remember what my first deposit was, but it was either £5 or £10.  I did accept the deposit bonus, so it gave me a little extra to have fun with.  It did take me a long time to reach the requirement to be able to withdraw – but I have to admit I kept winning.  😀  I won over £60 on one slot, and over £100 on another, each one from max lines, but minimum wagering (ie 20p spins).  That said, I’ve never won anything like that ever again on there.  I do occasionally deposit £5 there, just to have a little flutter on the slots, but have never since the first deposit withdrawn.  I did however withdraw £80 from my first deposit, so if I’d deposited £10 that would have made me £70 profit (or £75 if it was £5 I deposited).  I also left £20 in the account, but fluttered it away.

Tip:  Remember to check their promotions page.  Over Christmas they gave away free spins on slots every day.  😀

Best win:  £101 on The Codfather from a 20p bet.  Was well and truly shocked – and absolutely over the moon

Mecca Bingo review

The static page of this review is available here.

MECCA

www.meccabingo.com

I didn’t enjoy my time at Mecca at all.  But as the do offer free bingo games, has a fair few slots, and is a site I trust (albeit not enjoy), I figured I’d list it anyway.

Pros:

  • Easy to deposit/withdraw
  • Free bingo
  • Paypal option

Cons:

  • Attitude of support
  • Laggy slots

Deposit £10 – get £3o:

Yes – the above sentence is true.  😀  However – please take note – spend it on bingo.  Not on slots or scratchies… Bingo only.  They’ll then give you another £30 to spend on bingo.  I cannot spot the terms and conditions on wagering requirement, but it I was able to withdraw very quickly (2x?).. but keep in mind when I signed up I only got a tenner free.

My personal experience with Mecca:

I signed up nearly 6 months before I deposited.  I had a little bit of a fluttering budget left, so thought I’d finally get around to sticking £10 onto Mecca, with the promise of 100% first depositors bonus.  I deposited and waited for my bonus to appear.  It didn’t.  The next day I contacted support to inform them it had been a problem with the bous, as I never got it.  They claimed I wasn’t entitled to one as it had been more than 60 days since I signed up.  I had checked the terms & conditions before making the deposit, and the only place where it mentioned anything about a time limit was a mention that any bonus would be invalid after 60 days.  Well – for a bonus to be invalid I would have to have been given one in the first place!  I informed them of their own t&c rules, and they reluctantly (actually the support person was fairly snotty in their reply!) added £10 bonus to my account.  I have to admit it left a nasty taste in my mouth, and I now only had one goal – to get my deposit back.  After a few goes at bingo I withdrew £15, giving me a £5 profit of what should have been fun, but instead had turned into a mission of getting my deposit back (as I didn’t want my money going towards the snotty person in support’s wages).

Tip:  Sorry – got none to give… I was too busy getting my deposit back!!!

My best win:  £15 on bingo

Don’t be put off by the one star! The fact of the matter is they got a star, and they made it on here as a site I trust… there are tons of sites I’ve tried that I won’t list.  Mecca isn’t for me, but it might very well be a site you like!  Why not sign up, without making a deposit, have a browse around and see if you like it there.

Jackpotjoy review

JACKPOTJOY

✪✪✪

www.jackpotjoy.com

I like Jackpotjoy for it’s weekly free game.  Otherwise it’s not generally a place I will deposit, or spend too much time playing on.  They do occassinally have some decent promotions on, but they’re too restricted on their “free” bingo for my liking.

Pros:

  • Easy to deposit/withdraw
  • Free weekly game
  • Demo on slots
  • Paypal option
  • Easy to understand T&C

Cons:

  • Restrictions on “freebies”
  • Confusing main site (ok as soon as you get to the lobby)
  • Social site promotions seem biased

Deposit £10 – get £35 to play with:

Yes – the above sentence is true.  😀  However – there IS a wagering requirement to be met on the bonuses received before you can withdraw.  Any bonus must be wagered x2 before it can be withdrawn.  Bingo counts 100% towards your requirement, but slots only count as 5%!  They do have a decent amount of both slots and bingo, and their free weekly game is a nice bonus.  They are however stingy with their “free” bingo – to qualify you have to have wagered £2 on the site in the last week.

My personal experience with Jackpotjoy:

This is a site I signed up with years ago, so cannot remember if I withdrew after the initial deposit, if I did, it clearly wasn’t much as I cannot remember.  I did however redeposit a little while ago, having spotted that the Wonderland jackpot was so high… and to my disappointment discovered after having redeposited that to win the jackpot you have to play max on the lines.  Instead I wasted my £10 deposit on Winstones.  A few hours of fun, but no money left to withdraw..

Tip:  Remember to play the weekly game.  I’ve never won money on it, but sometimes get a few free spins.  They also got a weekly promotion called Quickity Pick… although I have to admit I’ve never won, got no idea what you can win, nor have I heard of any winners on it.

My best win:  None…  as far as I know.

Heart Bingo review

You can read the static page here.

HEART

✪✪

www.heartbingo.com

Heart Bingo is a similar site to Jackpotjoy and Virgin Games, but it offers less for an occasional gambler like me.  Their “free” bingo and “free” weekly game is only available if you have played for £2 the previous week.  So why list it?  Well – there’s a chance of nabbing up to £30 each week!

Pros:

  • Easy to deposit/withdraw
  • Easy to navigate layout
  • Demo on slots
  • Social site giveaways
  • Easy to understand T&C

Cons:

  • No paypal option
  • “Free” game not really free
  • Low payout on bingo unless linked game

Deposit £10 – get £30 to play with:

Yes – the above sentence is true.  😀  However – there IS a wagering requirement to be met on the bonuses received before you can withdraw.  Any bonus must be wagered x2 before it can be withdrawn… but only bingo counts as 100%.  That said, if you flutter on slots and win a decent amount, then you can always go and play bingo afterwards to reach your requirement quickly before withdrawing your winnings.

My personal experience with Heart Bingo:

I signed up and deposited.  Cannot remember how much I deposited, but know I took the bonus.  Again, can’t remember if I withdrew afterwards, but chances are I withdrew the same as I deposited (otherwise I would probably have remembered, as it would have irked me losing).  The reason I’m listing Heart here, even though it’s very similar to Jackpotjoy and Virgin, but with less freebies on offer – is their social site promotions!

Tip:  When you’ve signed up – keep an eye on their Facebook page – they’re giving away decent money there every week.  Each week there’s a brainteaser, one winner will get £30 in points, one £20 in points and one £10 in points.

My best win:  £30 from winning on their weekly brainteaser on Facebook.  Was well chuffed with the result of that.

CORAL

✪✪

www.coral.co.uk

Although a fairly large amount of slots, none of them impressed me, but Coral is still listed here as they got free bingo each Saturday!  Head on over to the Bingoal room on Saturdays to join in on the fun.

Pros:

  • Easy to deposit/withdraw
  • Option to deposit via paypal
  • Free  bingo
  • Easy to understand T&C

Cons:

  • Laggy slots
  • Slightly confusing site with so much going on
  • Not keen on their bingo lobby

Deposit £5 – get £10 free:

Deposit £5, and you’ll get another tenner on top to play for.  There is however a fairly high wagering requirement, x50… but if you want to give some an online casino a try without having to deposit £10, then this one might be for you.  They got a fairly large variety of slots, but with my laptop they’re all pretty laggy.  Hopefully you got a speedier laptop than my old bulk, so it might be that games won’t be laggy for you.

My personal experience with Coral:

I know I deposited £20, but I got no idea what sort of offer I got for my first deposit… I’ve probably blocked it out as I didn’t withdraw anything.  🙂   Which was disappointing as I know I was up to over £70 at some point.  If I’d noticed their bingo offer in time, I would have spend a fiver there (spend £5, get £5 bonus), but I didn’t until I only had £2 left in the account.  Still – I got high hopes for the free bingo.  😀

Tip:  After signing up – make sure you have a good browse at all the promotion pages – there’s loads of different promotions running at all times.

My best win:  None.  😦

BGO review

First review up and running – you can find it as a static page here:

BGO

✪✪✪✪✪

www.bgo.com

BGO is my favourite place to flutter online.  This is not to say you will make a bomb playing there, but chances are you’ll have loads of fun while the funds last.  There’s something for everyone, whether you like bingo, slots or casino.

Pros:

  • Easy to navigate layout
  • Easy to deposit/withdraw
  • Option to deposit via paypal
  • Free daily bingo
  • Loads of great slots
  • Loyalty points (exchanged for bonus money)
  • Easy to understand T&C
  • Friendly support and bingo hosts

Cons:

  • 3 days wait for withdrawal to clear
  • Limited times for live help
  • Minimum deposit £10
  • Minimum withdrawal £20
  • No demo option on the slots

Get 20 free spins + 200% bonus on your first deposit:

Yes – the above sentence is true.  😀  However – there IS a wagering requirement to be met on the bonuses received before you can withdraw.  Any bonus must be wagered x5 before it can be withdrawn.  For example, you deposit £10 and get £20 bonus.  The bonus would have to be wagered 5 times before you can withdraw, and cheekily they also add the deposit into the wagering requirement if you accept a bonus.  £30 x 5 = You must play for £150.  However, only Bingo gives each £1 wagered as 100% towards the wagering requirements.  For example slots only counts as 25%, so if you only played slots you would have to play through £600.

My personal experience with BGO:

I signed up and deposited £10, which gave me £30 to play for.  It was fun!  I instantaniously got hooked on the slot BigFoot, and although not my fave slot, it’s still there in the top ones for me.  The most I won, was £58 on a 25p spin.  However I kept playing, for a very long time indeed, and I still wasn’t able to withdraw as I hadn’t met the requirement.  Re-read the T&C, and realised I would meet them quicker on bingo… and thus moved over there.  However, my luck on bingo wasn’t there at all.  In the end, I did however reach the requirement, and withdrew £20.  Deduct the £10 I deposited in the first place, that was £10 profit after hours and hours of fun!

Tip:  Do not miss out like I did – there’s free bingo for 24 hours (although the bingo doesn’t run for 24 hours straight, I believe it’s from noon – 10pm) for first depositors!  Never seen it higher than 13 people playing – so when you’re ready for your first deposit, make sure it will be on a day where you don’t miss out on this super freebie.

My best win:  £3 from a 1p slot spin.  😀  Doesn’t sound like much does it – but it kept me going for hours afterwards.  Had deposited £10, had increased to £20, had then withdrawn.  Left with 1p – made a spin – and won £3.  😀
